Relationships & connection
Exploring how we connect with others, navigate family, friendships, and romantic relationships, and understand the patterns, boundaries, and emotional needs that shape our connections
Individual psychotherapy · California
A welcoming space to explore emotions, relationships, identity, and the experiences that shape your life.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW #119402) in Los Angeles, but beyond the title, I'm someone who has always been curious about people, their stories, and the many experiences that shape who we become.
I believe our stories don't begin with us. We're influenced not only by our own experiences, but also by the histories of our families, the communities we belong to, the cultures we grow up in, and the expectations passed down through generations. These influences can shape how we understand ourselves, navigate relationships, and make sense of the world around us.
My background in social work has given me the opportunity to work with people across different stages of life and in a variety of settings, including community-based services, education, and mental health care. These experiences have shaped how I approach therapy, reminding me that our emotional well-being doesn't exist in isolation from our relationships, environments, and the larger systems we're part of.
My approach is relational, collaborative, and holistic. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment-based perspectives, and person-centered practices.
I don't believe there's one way to experience life or approach therapy. Our work is collaborative, guided by your experiences, emotions, and what matters most to you. I bring curiosity, warmth, and my own personality into the room, making space for genuine connection, laughter, and meaningful conversations. After all, therapy doesn't always have to feel serious to explore something deeply meaningful. Even moments of humor can offer insight into our joy, pain, and the ways we navigate life.
Above all, I believe therapy is a relationship built on trust, respect, and the understanding that you're the expert on your own life. My role isn't to tell you who you should become, but to walk alongside you as we make space for exploration, connection, and growth.
Let's connect ↗
There's more to your story than what you're struggling with.
02 / AREAS OF FOCUS
Our experiences are shaped by more than any one moment or challenge. Here are some of the areas we may explore together, with curiosity, compassion, and room for complexity
Exploring how we connect with others, navigate family, friendships, and romantic relationships, and understand the patterns, boundaries, and emotional needs that shape our connections
Making sense of stress, anxiety, self-doubt, and difficult emotions while exploring our inner dialogue, sense of worth, and the ways we respond to ourselves during challenging moments.
Navigating life transitions, shifting roles, and questions of identity while exploring how our families, cultures, communities, and inherited expectations influence who we are and who we're becoming.
THERAPY BEYOND FOUR WALLS
Therapy doesn't always have to happen indoors. Walk-and-talk psychotherapy offers an opportunity to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences while moving through an outdoor environment.

04 / GOOD TO KNOW
Yes. Telehealth is the primary way I meet with clients, who must be physically located in California at the time of the session.
No- I do not accept insurance. I value your privacy and believe therapy should make room for the whole person, not just a diagnosis.
Using insurance typically requires sharing certain information, including a diagnosis and details related to treatment, with your insurance provider. By choosing to operate as a private-pay practice, I can offer an additional layer of privacy while allowing our work together to be guided by your experiences, relationships, values, and personal goals.Diagnoses can be helpful tools for understanding our experiences, but they do not define who we are. My approach is centered on understanding you as a whole person, beyond any label.
Walk-and-talk therapy is psychotherapy that takes place outdoors while we walk together, rather than sitting in a traditional therapy setting. It offers an opportunity to incorporate gentle movement, fresh air, and nature into our therapeutic work.
I believe our emotional well-being is connected to our bodies and the environments around us. For some people, walking side by side can make conversations feel more natural, create space for reflection, and offer a different way to connect with their thoughts and emotions.
Walk-and-talk therapy is an optional service available to some established clients, when we mutually agree that it's appropriate for their needs. Sessions take place at a designated outdoor location in Pasadena, California.
We can discuss availability, whether my approach may be a good fit, and the next steps for scheduling. This site is not intended for urgent or crisis communication.
